Every applicant from the Gamaliel network must have a sponsor. A sponsor is someone who provides direction, focus, and who also holds people accountable. There is a relationship with the sponsor before and after the weeklong leadership training. Examples of sponsors could include any of the following: director or lead organizer; leadership of an organization who are alumni of Gamaliel training; clergy of applicant’s organization. It is the responsibility of the applicant to contact and converse with the sponsor before and after training.
